Delfín Rueda

Managing Director, Finance

Delfín joined Squircle Capital in 2023 and is responsible for the group’s finance and fund administration departments. He sits on the firm’s executive and management committees.

Delfín has enjoyed a remarkable career in consulting and investment banking, having worked at Andersen Consulting, Salomon Brothers, UBS and J. P. Morgan in Madrid and London. During this time, he advised on high-profile strategic projects and transactions across, amongst others, the hotel, banking and insurance industries.

Prior to joining Squircle Capital, Delfín served as Chairman of the European Insurance CFO Forum, as CFO and Vice-Chair of the Executive Board and Management Board at ING Insurance and NN Group, and as CFO, CRO and member of the Management Board at Atradius.

Delfín holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Management and a Master of Science in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He speaks fluent Spanish, English and French.
