We spoke with Livia about her experience with Squircle Capital to date and her ambitions for the year ahead.

Reflecting on your time since joining in 2023, what have been the most rewarding challenges you’ve tackled at Squircle Capital?
Since joining in 2023, the most rewarding challenges have been those that required building structure and clarity in a fast-moving environment. Coming into a growing platform meant quickly getting up to speed with complex fund structures while also helping refine processes where needed. I’ve particularly valued working on areas where operations and compliance intersect, ensuring not just accuracy but also consistency across workflows. One of the things I love most about the company is how collaborative everyone is – I’ve learned so much from working with colleagues across different functions. It feels like we’re all working together towards a shared vision, which really energizes me.

How does your new role as Associate Director change your day-to-day focus within the Fund Administration team, and which new responsibilities are you most looking forward to?
The role brings a broader perspective to my day-to-day work. While I’ll remain close to the technical aspects of fund administration, there’s now a greater emphasis on coordination, oversight, and supporting the team more strategically. I’m looking forward to being more involved in shaping processes as we scale and acting as a point of reference across different functions. It’s an opportunity to contribute not just through execution, but through direction and continuity.

Squircle Capital is in a period of significant growth. What excites you most about the firm’s trajectory over the next 12 to 18 months?
What excites me most is the opportunity to be a part of such a pivotal moment in Squircle Capital’s journey. We’re at a point where the next 12-18 months will shape a lot of the long-term future of the firm. I’m especially motivated by the thought of how we’ll continue to grow while staying true to the values of sustainability, impact, and long-term value creation. There’s something special about being in an environment where everyone is aligned and driven to not only achieve great financial results but also make a positive impact in the industry.
